Routes To Work operates as North Lanarkshire's Jobs Access Community Intermediary. What this means is that we help unemployed residents of North Lanarkshire to access opportunities in education, training and employment.
We do this by providing advice, information, guidance and practical support, to develop and enhance your employment prospects. We are particularly keen to promote our services to those who reside within the most disadvantaged areas of North Lanarkshire and to anyone who may be facing other barriers, such as health and childcare, to getting back to work.
Our services are free, confidential and available to all residents of North Lanarkshire between the ages of 16 and 65 who are looking to return to work, although we can still help some clients who are in work but in danger of becoming unemployed. Services are provided from around 50 outreach centres in the local community each and every week.
Our vision at Routes To Work is "To deliver a high quality, respected and client focused jobs access service, which offers excluded people a realistic route back to work, and meets the current and future needs of local employers seeking staff".
