If you're not working but would like to work, Routes to Work can help.

Our free and confidential service is available to anyone not currently working - you could have recently left a job, been out of work for a while, had health problems or caring responsibilities, or be looking for your first job - we can help.

We can give you information, advice and practical support on all aspects of finding a job. This will be on a one-to-one basis with one of our experienced advisors, who will also be able to give you information on learning and training opportunities.

Our Services Include:

Individual and confidential discussion on what you'd like to do and what services are available to help you
Information about local training and educational opportunities - full and part time
Help with producing an up to date, detailed and professional CV
Providing information on local jobs available and matching you to suitable opportunities
Help with completing application forms
Providing helpful interview tips and preparing for interviews
Accessing work experience and volunteering opportunities suitable to your needs
Employability Support Team which includes support to source and finance assistance to pay for childcare
Assistance to apply for funding from the Tailored Training Grant which may pay for training which will guarantee you a job
Ongoing support of a Key Worker up to and into employment ensuring that you receive support when you most need it
Providing templates for CV, Cover Letter and Application needs
