Our free and confidential service is available to anyone not currently working - you could have recently left a job, been out of work for a while, had health problems or caring responsibilities, or be looking for your first job - we can help.
We can give you information, advice and practical support on all aspects of finding a job. This will be on a one-to-one basis with one of our experienced advisors, who will also be able to give you information on learning and training opportunities.
Our Services Include:
- Individual and confidential discussion on what you'd like to do and what services are available to help you
- Information about local training and educational opportunities - full and part time,
- Help with producing an up to date, detailed and professional CV,
- Providing information on local jobs available and matching you to suitable opportunities,
- Help with completing application forms,
- Providing helpful interview tips and preparing for interviews,
- Accessing work experience and volunteering opportunities suitable to your needs,
- Gaining access to the services of the Working for Families Fund including assisting with childcare provision,
- Accessing the Training Assistance Grant Scheme which can provide up to £650 towards training which will guarantee you a job,
- Ongoing support of an adviser for as long as you need it at a venue suitable to you.
