Training For Work (Call Centre)

 

 

 

·         A Contact Centre Open Day will take place in beCogent, Victoria Place, Airdrie on Tuesday 4th May from 9.30 am to 2.00pm.

 

·         The aim of this event is to attract customers who have expressed an interest in working within Contact Centres and may not have the necessary skills.

 

·         At the event customers will attend a 30 minute presentation delivered by the training provider, beCogent. This will give an overview of the training programme, the level of competence required for Customer Service Adviser role and a general awareness of the role of a Customer Service Adviser.

 

·         All interested customers will then have a one to one interview where they will questioned on - previous employment history, current skills, IT skills, attitude etc.

 

·         This is a selection process and there is a maximum of 15 spaces

 

·         The successful customers from the Open Day will be notified on Wednesday 5th May

 

·         The course is scheduled to commence on 10th May for 2 weeks and the venue will be beCogent, Victoria Place, Airdrie

 

·         All customers who successfully complete the course are guaranteed to progress to beCogent Assessment Sessions

·         A Credit Check and Disclosure will be carried out as part of the recruitment process

 

·         Working hours if a position is secured would be between 8am to 10pm 5 days out of 7 days

 

·         Salary on offer is dependant on experience but probably NMW initially

 

·         Variety of shift patterns and number of hours on offer – minimum would be 16 hours
