Colin registered with RTW in November 2017. Colin built up a good working relationship with his case worker through the development of his CV and referral for various job opportunities. Colin also received interview support to prepare him for up and coming interviews. Colin retained close contact with his case worker throughout his journey, leading on to two job interviews.
The fact that Colin was able to take strides towards employment in such a short space of time, improved Colin’s confidence greatly. Colin was successful at the second interview leading onto a job with Doorset. Once it was established Colin was successful, his case worker was able to put in place the necessary Innovation Fund support to tide Colin over until his first pay in the form of Tesco vouchers. This allowed Colin to put his mind at rest and fully concentrate on understanding his new role. Colin stated recently that he loves his new job and is glad to be working again.
