​In Work Support

Now that you have moved into work, don’t forget that we are still here to help.

We provide a full telephone and one to one support service giving advice on benefits, coping with day to day pressures like stress, travel to work, childcare, budgeting advice or even if you would simply like to have a chat about how your week has been going, our experienced staff are here to listen and advise. We are here to help you gain and maintain a work/life balance that suits you and your circumstances, providing guidance and signposting to help you stay in work. 

​We’ve made it as easy as possible to find what you need.

​​In Work Support is a free service provided by Routes to Work that can help you with any initial concerns you may have before starting work.

We are here to ensure you have found a job that is right for you, to ensure you have applied for any in-work benefits you may be entitled to and give you reassurance when you are settled into your new role.
In Work Support can be really helpful if you have any questions on:

  • Job prospects 
  • Redundancy concerns
  • Chance of promotion
  • Childcare    
  • Updating you CV
  • Taxation/Working & Child tax credits
  • Home/life/work balance
  • Moving into another job
  • Understanding your terms and conditions of employment

Your allocated In Work Support Adviser will maintain contact with you as often as you need it - this service is tailored to your needs and is dependent on the level of support you require to sustain employment. ​
We normally work:

Monday : 9am – 5pm
Tuesday : 12noon – 8pm
Wednesday : 12noon – 8pm
Thursday : 12noon – 8pm
Friday : 9am – 5pm

Which means we will contact you out with your working hours.
​You are also welcome to visit us at any of our offices at a time that suits you.
