Job Description:
​Painting & decorating company based in Cleland who serve mainly trade customers with occasional private works carried out are looking to recruit Adult Apprentice Painter and Decorators. Hours of business are 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday-Thursday and 8.00am to 2.30pm on Fridays. Shift patterns can vary depending on client’s specifications or deadlines required, i.e. if overtime is required the company would endeavour to give notice to the employee. The employee may be asked to travel out with the Lanarkshire area but this would be agreed with the employee in advance. NMW + payable.

Duties:
​Full adult apprenticeship lasting 2 years the successful candidate will be mostly working on commercial projects learning all aspects of painting and decorating from the skilled tradesmen.

Essential Requirements:
​Commitment and the desire to working within the painting and decorating industry long term.

Desirable Requirements:
​College attendance is a MUST for the company’s apprentices.
