A Motherwell based civil engineering company are looking to recruit an Administrative/Data Input Assistant during this busy period, to provide support to the technical aspects of the busy construction material testing department. This is a full time position, hours are Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm, salary is competitive and dependent on experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

· Deal with incoming phone calls and queries.

· Provide secretarial and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office. Assisting with the work of fellow colleagues as required and communicating appropriately with internal and external contacts.

· Undertaking copying, scanning, filing, emails and archiving of documents.

· Updating spreadsheets/databases.

· Ensuring office records are kept and up to date.

· Stationary ordering and stock maintenance.

Essential Criteria :

· IT literate with skills in Microsoft excel, word and project.

· Self-motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.

· Ability to prioritise work load and work with changing priorities.

· Able to carry out manual handling tasks

Desirable Criteria :

· Own transport is desirable due to location
