Your normal place of work is based at Cumbernauld normal. Hours of work will be 39 hours per week, worked between Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm and Friday 8am to 3.30pm.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The key personal requirements for this role will be to have good communication, presentation, and IT skills. You must be a good team player, with attention to detail and the ability to self-manage your own workload.

This role will encompass a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, the following:

· Assisting the Senior Estimator in a wide range of estimating tasks including department administration.

· Assisting with quantity take offs from tender documents.

· Assisting with scope markup drawings to support the company’s bid.

· Assisting in producing supplier enquiries and updating quotes from key supply chain partners.

· Undertaking continuous training in the products and services the company offers.

· Work towards gaining an understanding of regulations applicable to the façade industry which the business operates in.

· Working towards becoming an Estimator.


Essential Criteria

· Working knowledge of Estimating Software such as Logikal / KPro.

· Ability to interpret and understand Technical Manuals

· Ability to interpret Architectural and Engineering Drawings


Desirable Criteria

· Basic understanding of Glazing Systems (Curtain Wall, Windows, and doors)

· Basic understanding of Cladding systems
