Independent company that produces, blends, bottles and distributes Scotch whiskies and other spirits is currently recruiting for Backshift Bottling Hall Operators (Production Operators) to join our Coatbridge facility on a permanent basis. You will be joining a new Backshift Team which is being formed to meet our growing production requirements. Reporting to the Bottling Manager, you will be working within our manufacturing facility which is a key part of our Company’s mission to supply high quality, bottled products worldwide.

  • 4 day working week with a 25% salary uplift.

Please note this role will initially be day shift whilst in the training period. Once training has been completed the role will be permanent backshift.


Duties: 

You will be joining a new Backshift Team which is being formed to meet our growing production requirements. Reporting to the Bottling Manager, you will be working within our manufacturing facility which is a key part of our Company’s mission to supply high quality, bottled products worldwide.

The main duties of the role are as follows:

  • Carrying out and record Quality checks

  • Accurately recording downtime of equipment

  • Carrying out hygiene of equipment to a high standard

  • Flexing between bottling equipment and bottling lines

  • Following all SOP’s and instructions diligently

  • Adhering to Health and Safety policies and RA’s

  • Driving Performance through continuous improvement

Essential Requirements: 

  • Great attention to detail.

  • Previous experience of working within a bottling hall environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.

  • Experience of working within a production environment (working within the spirits industry would be a distinct advantage).

  • The ability to work as part of a team, ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and in line with the company requirements.

  • The ability to manage numerous tasks whilst managing your time effectively.
