Restaurant Supervisor – Carluke (South Lanarkshire)
Location: Carluke, South Lanarkshire
Part time
Hours: 2–3 shifts per week (including some weekends)
Rate of Pay: Dependent on experience NMW & Above
We are a friendly, locally loved restaurant and bar known for our welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, and outstanding customer service. We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Restaurant Supervisor to join our team and help lead our staff to success.
Role overview
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in managing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service, maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene, and supporting the team to deliver an exceptional guest experience every time.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support front-of-house staff during service
Lead by example to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene standards
Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
Assist with staff training, rota planning, and task delegation
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming restaurant environment
Work closely with management to achieve business goals
About you
Previous experience in a supervisory or senior front-of-house role (hospitality experience essential)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
Ability to work well under pressure and motivate a team
A good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety standards
Flexible availability, including weekends
