Routes to Traffic Management Course with Job Opportunities

This is a unique opportunity to complete training with one of Scotland’s leading and largest suppliers of traffic management. 

The course itself will be a 2 day course and will cover:  (Looks likely to be end of June) 

• Industry and role information, opportunities and expectations. (Day 1) 

• Trainee Traffic Management- Basic Course (TTMBC)- LANTRA certified qualification (Day 2)

Traffic Management Operators are tasked with: 

• Installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic management setups, on either low or high  speed roads, including Lane Closures, Temporary Traffic Signals, Stop and Go operations and  many more. 

• Completion of the necessary health and safety paperwork prior to the implementation of traffic  management, including liaising with the relevant roads authorities where required and  interacting with the client on site. 

• Guiding new or trainee employees once they start with the company.

Essential Requirements:

• English Speaking & Reading is needed for the test. 

• Ability to pass a safety critical worker medical. (Drug & Alcohol testing)

• Positive “Can Do” attitude. 

• Adaptability and Flexibiliy

• You Must be able to get to base for the start of each shift for travel. 

Desirable Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence – No more than 3 points
