Bus company based in Lanarkshire are looking to recruit additional Trainee Bus Drivers to add to their team. Full time hours available, position is permanent and pays £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

Providing a cheerful, friendly face to our customers, ensuring that all of our customers are delivered amazing customer service. Driving Company vehicles carefully and safely, complying with all legal and regulatory requirements and company procedures. Advising customers of fares and taking payment via cash or contactless or checking valid tickets and passes, accounting for fares processed.

Being an amazing team player, ensuring that our services operate day in, day out come rain or shine.

You must have great customer service skills and be a team player. You don’t need to have experience of driving buses or large vehicles, as we’ll provide training to help you get your licence. You must, however, hold a valid car driving licence. A good grasp of basic English and maths is essential as you’ll be dealing with our customers on a daily basis, and a good knowledge of the local Lanarkshire area would be helpful. You need to look smart and professional and be willing to work shifts. If you have these qualities, the employer can teach you the rest.
