The objective of the Trainee -> Designer Programme is to nurture and develop your talent, to help you progress within the company, carving out a career path specialising in a more technical profession. In a 3-4 Year Programme (performance dependant), you will progress through recognised milestones, including completion of a HNC in your chosen field, and mixture of housing, industrial/commercial and Electrical Vehicle Charging projects.. Throughout your development your experience, knowledge and qualification levels will rise, resulting in higher personal benefits at pre-defined stages of the programme.


You'll learn to manage a portfolio of multi utility design projects ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards and technical policies and bulletins, using all your skills to manage all aspects of the design life cycle of the project. More importantly, you'll have the chance to work with people who are innovative and creative and as part of that team, you will deliver 1st class results. Because design is a real business driver for us and a key service differentiator, you get to use your flair for some of the biggest projects in the business.
