A well-established fabrication and manufacturing company is seeking a motivated Trainee Welder to join its workshop team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to build a long-term career in welding and fabrication. The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training while attending college to gain industry-recognised welding qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
Assist experienced welders and fabricators with day-to-day workshop activities.
Learn MIG welding techniques and fabrication processes.
Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Assist with preparing materials for fabrication and welding.
Read and follow basic engineering drawings and instructions.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
Aged 18 years or over.
Previous hands-on experience using tools through work, education, hobbies, or personal projects.
Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Good attention to detail.
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
Able to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable Requirements
Interest in engineering, fabrication, or welding.
Previous workshop or manufacturing experience.
Basic understanding of engineering drawings.
