Company Profile

Motherwell based structural engineering company are looking to recruit Apprentice Welder/Platers. They supply and erect structural steel through various contracts all over the UK. Contracts ranging from stadiums and Airport extensions to Industrial sheds and units. The positions for the apprenticeship would be dayshift based in Motherwell. The working week would be Monday to Thursday, 7am until 5pm with an earlier finish on the Thursday 4.30pm. All practical and college training will be provided through the 4 year apprenticeship. Hourly rate £6.40

Keen to listen and learn

Able to take in instructions and complete tasks

Be able to work as part of a team

Good timekeeping and attendance

Essential Criteria :

16-17 year’s old for apprenticeship reasons

Other Info :

After completing the 4 year apprenticeship you will become fully time served in Fabrication and Welding

There are opportunities within the company to progress again, if the candidates show willing to learn.
