A Wishaw based Electrical Contractors within the solar and renewables industry covering most of mainland Scotland are looking to recruit a Solar Installer/Roofer to add to their busy team

Ideally looking to recruit an experienced roofer to their installation team to assist in the installation of both on roof and in roof solar panel systems. Further training opportunities may be available.

Company van will be provided along with fuel card.

Working Mon – Fri with the occasional overnight stay, hours will depend on business needs.

Hourly rate will be dependent on experience

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

The successful candidate must have previous experience of working with various roofing materials including slate, concrete tile and rosemary tiles. Previous solar installation experience is preferred but not essential.

The successful candidate must be over 25 and have a full driving licence as driving will be required daily.

Installation of solar panels ensuring the integrity of roof is not compromised.

Assessment of roof suitability for proposed installation.

Working alongside other trades to ensure a high level of installation quality and customer satisfaction.

Essential Criteria :

Previous roofing experience

Over 25

Full driving licence

Own tools.

Desirable Criteria :

Solar installation experience
