Food Service Assistant – Full-Time & Part-Time
Location: Wishaw
Hours: 30 hours per week or 16 hours part-time
Working Pattern: Shifts across 7 days, including weekends
Pay: National Minimum Wage appropriate to age
Experience: ideally commercial food prep experience
About the Role
A friendly and established food service business in Wishaw is looking for enthusiastic Food Service Assistants to join its team.
There are two options available:
30 hours per week, working shifts across a 7-day operation
16 hours per week, ideal for someone looking for a part-time position
What You’ll Be Doing
Duties may include:
Welcoming customers and providing friendly service
Taking customer orders accurately
Serving food and drinks
Clearing and preparing tables
Keeping customer and service areas clean and tidy
Assisting with basic food preparation where required
Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures
Helping colleagues during busy periods
Carrying out general cleaning duties
Working as part of the team to provide a positive customer experience
