Home Care Assistant (driver with car)

We currently have Bank, Part-Time and Full-Time Care Assistant positions available.

Care Assistant Roles

Our Care Assistants visit customers in their own homes to provide high-quality care and support. A car and driving licence are essential for these positions.

Full-Time

• Shift pattern: 3 days one week and 4 days the next

• One weekend on, one weekend off

• Day shifts: 7:00am–2:00pm or 2:30pm

• Back shifts: 4:00pm–10:30pm

• Approx. £31,500 per year, plus mileage paid at 25p per mile

Part-Time

• Same shift pattern as full-time, but working half days

• Must be available for a mixture of day and back shifts

• Flexible hours to suit your availability

Bank

• Flexible working to suit your availability

• Plenty of work available

• We pay for full shifts, not just contact time.

• Approx. £13.45 per hour, plus mileage paid at 25p per mile

These roles cover Hamilton, Larkhall, Stonehouse, East Kilbride, Cambuslang/Rutherglen and Bothwell/Uddingston.

Domestic Care Roles

Depending on experience we also have Domestic Care roles available across North and South Lanarkshire. Experience is essential for this role and people must have access to a car.

These roles focus on:

• Companionship

• Shopping

• Domestic chores

• Supporting customers in their own homes

Hours are flexible, ranging from 15 to 40 hours per week, depending on your availability and circumstances.

Pay: £16 per hour + 45p per mile.

Full Training Provided

Full training is provided for all positions, so previous care experience is not always essential.
