Picking & Packing
Accurately pick products according to order sheets or production requirements.
Pack products into trays, boxes, or packaging materials to meet quality and safety standards.
Ensure correct labelling, sealing, and presentation of finished goods.
Scaling & Weight Checks
Operate digital scales to weigh product portions according to customer specifications.
Record weights and batch numbers accurately.
Maintain consistency and compliance with portion control requirements.
Conveyor Line Operations
Work efficiently on a fast-paced conveyor line, ensuring continuous workflow.
Sort, place, or arrange product on the line as required.
Identify and remove defective or non-conforming items.
Follow instructions from the line leader to meet production targets.
Factory & Equipment Duties
Operate basic factory equipment safely (e.g., cutters, sealers, wrapping machinery).
Maintain a clean, hygienic workspace in line with food safety standards (HACCP).
Assist with end-of-shift cleaning, sanitising, and equipment washing as required.
Skills & Requirements
Experience in food or fish processing (preferred but not essential).
Ability to work in chilled or wet environments.
Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and working on your feet for long periods.
Ability to meet fast production speeds while maintaining quality.
Basic numeracy for weighing and recording measurements.
Commitment to hygiene, food safety, and health & safety rules.
£12.21ph and £18.32ph overtime
18+
Shifts available 7:00-15:00; 8:00-16:00; 16:00-24:00; Monday-Friday
As well shift 4 work 4 off 7:00-19:00.
