Support Worker
Reports to: Team Manager & Service Manager
Role Purpose:
Provide quality care and support to help service users live independently, maintain well-being, and follow Health and Social Care Standards.
Key Duties:
Give emotional, practical, and personal care (including dressing, bathing, medication support).
Assist with household tasks, shopping, meal prep, and hobbies.
Adapt communication to individual needs.
Maintain dignity, respect, and confidentiality.
Record care activities and incidents accurately.
Follow health, safety, and company policies.
Work flexibly to cover colleagues and support the team.
Requirements:
Care experience preferred.
Good communication and time management.
Honest, reliable, empathetic, and professional.
Able to follow procedures, uphold care standards, and act as a role model.
