Location: Coatbridge
Pay: £16.38 per hour, depending on experience
Contract: Temp to Perm
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has become available for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy established organisation based in Coatbridge.
This is a temp-to-perm position, offering the opportunity to secure long-term employment for the right candidate. The successful applicant will play an important role within the warehouse operation, ensuring incoming goods and customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
Shift Patterns
You will work a consistent Monday to Friday shift pattern:
Day Shift: 6:00am to 2:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break
Back Shift: 2:00pm to 10:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break
Key Responsibilities
Duties will include:
Receiving and checking goods delivered by suppliers
Accurately checking deliveries against the relevant documentation and information
Placing incoming goods into the correct goods-in bins for customer orders
Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently
Checking completed orders to ensure all items are correct
Passing completed orders to the production team
Preparing and dispatching goods for delivery
Maintaining a clean, organised and accurate warehouse environment
Following workplace processes and procedures
Working efficiently as part of a team in a busy, fast-paced environment
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous warehouse experience or similar
Have strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Be organised and able to follow processes and instructions
Be reliable, punctual and committed
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Be physically capable of carrying out the duties associated with a warehouse role
Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
