About the Role:

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents with their daily living activities, promoting independence, and delivering person-centred care. You will work as part of a close-knit and compassionate team, ensuring that each resident receives care tailored to their unique needs and preferences.


Main Resposibilities

· Assist residents with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, always respecting privacy and dignity.

· Support residents with mobility, including moving and handling using appropriate equipment and techniques.

· Assist residents at mealtimes, including serving food, supporting those who require help eating and drinking, and ensuring dietary requirements are met.

· Engage residents in social activities, conversation, and hobbies to enhance wellbeing and maintain a stimulating environment.

· Monitor and record residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals as appropriate.

· Provide emotional support and reassurance to residents and their families, fostering positive relationships built on trust and empathy.

· Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe living environment for all residents.

· Follow all care plans, policies , and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best 

practice.

Qualifications & Experience

· No previous experience necessary – full training will be provided for the right candidate.

· Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential.

· Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks and provide satisfactory references.

· Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
