Front of House - Restaurant
Based in Airdrie City Centre
Role Purpose:
To provide excellent customer service by welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring customers have an enjoyable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Show guests to their tables and provide menus.
Take food and drink orders accurately.
Serve food and beverages promptly.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve minor complaints professionally.
Process payments and operate the till.
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area.
Set up and clear tables efficiently.
Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.
Work as part of a team to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Skills and Qualities:
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Friendly, positive, and professional attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good teamwork skills.
Reliable and punctual.
Basic numeracy skills for handling payments.
Previous experience would be preferred
Experience:
Previous hospitality or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.
Working Hours:
Flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
