Our team works with compassion, professionalism and respect, tailoring support to each person’s unique needs and preferences.

Role Overview

As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live well in their own homes. You will be part of a compassionate team delivering personalised care across a range of needs — from personal care to companionship — helping individuals maintain independence, dignity and wellbeing in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, respectful and person-centred support in clients’ homes.

  • Support with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing and continence care.

  • Assist with meal preparation and encouragement to eat/drink as required.

  • Support with medication prompting or management in line with training.

  • Offer companionship and engagement in meaningful activities.

  • Help with light household tasks, errands and shopping as part of support plans.

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with clients and families.

  • Report any changes in client health or wellbeing promptly to your supervisor.

  • Maintain accurate and timely care records.

  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including health & safety and confidentiality.

  • A caring, patient and respectful attitude.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Commitment to delivering high standards of care.

  • Previous care experience is desirable but not essential — training is provided.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay at National Living Wage rate.

  • Mileage reimbursement for travel between clients.

  • Full induction and ongoing training.

  • Supportive management and ongoing supervision.

  • Opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives.
