Company Profile

An insulation contractor based in Shotts are looking to add an Insulation Installer to their busy team. Work involves traveling as a team of two to various addresses across Scotland to extract defective cavity wall insulation with options in the future to be learn how to install loft insulation, under floor insulation and cavity wall insulation. The successful candidate will be offered a permanent 40hours per week contract. The fall-back rate when trained is £16/hr, but the teams are all on price work which allows them to earn in excess of this.

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

The job is physically demanding with a lot of working at heights on scaffold and ladders, and with future reference to loft and underfloor installations, working in confined, hot and dirty spaces.

There is also the need to works away form home on occasion with the company paying an overnight tax-free allowance of £30.

Essential Criteria :

Be able to work away and be physically fit.

Desirable Criteria:

Have a driving license with no more than three points.
