We deliver bespoke grounds maintenance services for a wide range of commercial clients including food processing facilities, hotels, student accommodation, housing associations, industrial sites and property management companies.

We are now looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our growing commercial team.

Role:

Grounds Maintenance Operative Full Time - Permanent

£12.60 per hour rising to £13.45 1st April

07:30hrs – 16:30hrs

Overtime will be required during busy periods

About you:

As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the outdoor areas we manage are safe, clean, and visually appealing for our clients, supporting us to be excellent at everything we do.

The successful applicant will have experience across a range of grounds maintenance activities and be able to deliver a high standard of work. You must have a passion for working outdoors, all year round. You must be able to work within strict safety parameters and work well as part of a team to produce high quality work.

Skills:

Experience necessary

Full UK Driving licence is advantageous

PA1/PA6 Spraying certificate is advantageous

Horticultural or landscape qualification would be advantageous

Job description:

You will work as part of our multi-award-winning team delivering high-quality grounds maintenance services for our commercial clients throughout the year to carry out regular ground maintenance works to a very high standard for our commercial clients all year round. During the winter months you will be required to carry gritting and snow clearing. From time to time, you may be required to support and work as part of our hard landscaping team. You will be required to carry out overtime during busy periods.

Weed Control

Power Washing

Equipment Testing

Equipment Maintenance

Winter Maintenance – Gritting/Snow Clearing
