We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Hygiene Operative to join our team. This is a key role within a fast-paced production environment, and we are looking for individuals who can bring strong industry experience, reliability, and a proactive approach to maintaining exceptional hygiene standards.


About the Role

As an experienced hygiene operative, you will already understand the importance of high hygiene standards within food or manufacturing environments. You will work across multiple production areas and be responsible for ensuring all machinery, equipment, and workspaces consistently meet the strict hygiene and safety requirements of our client.

This role requires someone who is confident working independently, able to manage their own time effectively, and capable of working to tight deadlines. Candidates with proven experience will have the opportunity for long-term progression into permanent employment.


Key Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a hygiene operative role is      essential

  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures

  • Full knowledge of the preparation, handling, and      disposal of cleaning chemicals

  • Experience working in a fast-paced production      environment

  • Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet      deadlines

  • Excellent communication skills

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own      initiative

  • Basic level of English required

  • A driving licence is advantageous due to shift patterns      and site location

Responsibilities

  • Carry out all hygiene tasks as outlined in the hygiene      rota and assigned areas

  • Prepare, operate, and maintain cleaning equipment      required for duties

  • Safely handle, prepare, and dispose of cleaning      chemicals and disinfectants

  • Complete hygiene tasks in line with approved and      documented procedures, ensuring logbook entries are accurate and kept to      company standards

  • Perform deep cleaning of production lines, including      use of jet washers

  • Adhere strictly to hygiene, health, and safety policies      at all times

Work effectively as part of the wider hygiene and production team
