A family run pizza manufacturing company currently based in Glasgow but moving to a new 26.000 sq ft production site in Coatbridge, are looking to recruit Production Operatives on permanent basis.
They supply a wide range of pizzas to wholesalers, schools and foodservice companies across the UK- from classic deep pan to nutritionally balanced options for children.

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours of Work: Minimum 30 hours per week
Hourly Rate: £12.60 per hour
Shift Pattern:
Monday: 10am – 8pm
Tuesday: 10am – 8pm
Thursday: 10am – 8pm
Friday: 10am – 6pm
Breaks: 1 hour break per shift (30 minutes paid, 30 minutes unpaid)
Holiday Entitlement: 4 weeks annual leave, plus Public Holidays (some PHs may be worked, excluding Christmas & New Year)
Factory is due to move to Coatbridge in February 2026 - you must have access to own transport to Maryhill until Feb.
Any experience in food production an advantage but not necessary.
Jobs on offer are production workers, packers, bakery staff and will include a clean down each day. High standard of personal hygiene required, no jewellery (except wedding band allowed). Key Duties and Responsibilities :
As a Production Operative, you will play a vital role in helping to deliver high-quality pizza products to customers across the UK. Duties include:
Working on a fast-paced production line, preparing and assembling pizzas to specification
Weighing, portioning, and adding toppings (cheese, tomato sauce, etc.) to pizza bases
Operating machinery including ovens, wrapping stations or topping applicators (full training provided)
Packing finished products into boxes and preparing them for dispatch
Maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety and quality throughout the process
Cleaning equipment and workstations to meet our hygiene standards
Accurately completing any necessary paperwork or production records
Following instructions from supervisors and working as part of a team
Adapting to different tasks depending on production needs
This role is hands-on and requires someone who is reliable, willing to learn, and happy to work in a busy food manufacturing environment. A positive attitude and strong attention to detail are key.
Essential Criteria
Reliability, Timely and Willing to graft.
Desirable Criteria
Food Hygiene Certificate, Health and Safety in the Workplace, Allergen Awareness, Manual Handling, HACCP Awareness and Fire Safety Awareness.
(Forklift License).
