Coatbridge building company looking to recruit 3 scaffolders to join their team.
Role and Person Spec:
Assembly and Disassembly: Safely erecting and dismantling scaffolding, platforms, and masts on construction sites, industrial facilities, or event venues.
Structural Integrity: Ensuring all scaffolding is level, secure, and complies with safety standards (e.g., using proper foundations, ties, and bracing).
Component Handling: Loading, unloading, and moving scaffolding materials (poles, boards, couplings) often using hoists or winches.
Safety Adherence: Installing guard rails, safety netting, and safe access points (ladders) to protect workers at height and the public below.
Site Inspection: Checking equipment for damage or faults before and during use to ensure it is fit for purpose.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Certification: Valid industry-recognized certification
Technical Understanding: Ability to read plans or understand specifications for building complex structures.
Safety Conscious: Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations.
