Contraflow are opening a brand-new location in Bonnyrigg this October!

We are looking for Experienced Traffic Management Operatives to join our team in this new exciting opportunity.

What will you do?

You will be responsible for ensuring the overall safety of our roads. At Contraflow Ltd, the daily tasks of a traffic management operative will vary between…

  • Set up and maintain traffic management equipment.

  • Perform essential tasks in the depot, including equipment maintenance.

  • Display signage.

  • Install temporary traffic lights as required.

  • Ensure all operational needs are met through physically demanding work.

You WILL require…

  • A Manual driving license.

  • Own transport to commute to and from the depot (due to start and end      times unsuited to public transport)

  • Prior Experience is necessary

  • To be fully flexibleas our shift patterns will include day, night and weekend work + long hours over 7 days a week.

What does your pay look like?

Below are the rates as per each point of progression.

  • Starting as a12DOperative: Day(£13.10)Night(£15.20)Weekend(£16.35).

  • Starting as/progressing to12D+Operative: Day(£13.45)Night(£15.70)Weekend(£16.70).

  • Further pay grades for each qualification level can be discussed at      interview.

Our training programme will take you through the ranks and if you choose to go the distance in your Traffic Management Career and progress to our top position of IPV Foreman/12C Supervisor, your pay will eventually look like:Day(£18)Night(£20)Weekend(£22).
