Routes to Work has achieved platinum accreditation from Investors in People for our efforts in excelling in the ability to lead, improve and support our employees through our people practices. This is the highest level of recognition for excellence within people management!
This is a very significant achievement as Routes to Work joins an exclusive group of organisations.
50,000 companies are registered with Investors in People and only 251 companies are platinum accredited in the world.
This puts Routes to Work in the top 0.5% of companies worldwide for people practices!
Additionally, this accreditation also puts Routes to Work as 1 of 50 companies in Scotland and only 1 of 14 charities worldwide to have achieved platinum with Investors in People.
All of this wouldn't have been possible without the hard work of our team.
What is Investors in People?

Investors in People is an international framework and accreditation which assesses and recognises organisations for their work to support and develop their employees.
This is done through assessing how well organisations are leading, improving and supporting their staff, through meeting specific criteria.
There are 4 accreditation levels that you can achieve via Investors in People.
Standard - This is the foundational level, indicating that an organisation has the core principles and practices in place to support and develop its people.
Silver - Organisations at this level demonstrate a more advanced approach to people management and development, building on the foundational elements of the Standard level.
Gold - Gold accreditation signifies a strong commitment to creating a positive work environment and actively engaging with and developing employees. It means the organisation has established robust practices in areas like leadership, performance management, and employee engagement.
Platinum - This is the highest level of accreditation, awarded to organisations that consistently demonstrate high performance through exceptional people management practices. It reflects a deep integration of people-centric strategies across the organisation and a commitment to continuous improvement.
